INDIVIDUAL SOUGHT IN CONNECTION WITH THIS MORNING’S ATTEMPTED CHILD ABDUCTION

 

Harrisburg, PA – Mayor Stephen R. Reed this afternoon said Harrisburg Police now have more details on the individual that attempted to lure a 13-year-old Harrisburg School District student into his car as the student walked to school in the area of 18th and Berryhill Streets around 8:05 a.m.

vehicleReed said Harrisburg Police are now looking for a newer-model, dark grey, four-door sedan with very dark tinted windows. It may be a Toyota Camry or similar vehicle.

suspect Reed also said Harrisburg Police have put together a composite of the individual they believe attempted to lure the school student this morning. He is described as a medium-in-complexion black male, early 20’s, with a substantial amount of acne on his face. He is said to have a wide nose and a pierced left ear. ball capHe was wearing a NY Yankees baseball cap that was black in color with a gold seal on the bill of the hat.
