TWO ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH LAST WEEK’S HOMICIDE

Harrisburg, PA – Mayor Stephen R. Reed this afternoon said that two individuals have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Quenton Robinson, 20, of the 1300 block of Penn Street. The incident occurred on Monday, January 7, 2008, at approximately 1:00pm next to 42 Hall Manor in Allison Hill.

Mayor Reed said that Woodens B. Joseph, 18, and Lahme Perkins, 21, both of New York City, NY, have been charged with one count each of criminal homicide, criminal conspiracy to commit homicide, burglary, and weapons charges in connection with the shooting.

Reed said the two individuals were both taken into custody after they broke into a house in the 1600 block of Putnam Street immediately following the shooting. Both suspects surrendered to police after a lengthy standoff.

Joseph and Perkins were both charged with burglary and were remanded to Dauphin County Prison for the break-in on Putnam Street. Both individuals will remain at Dauphin County Prison without bail following today’s charges.
