BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED

 

Harrisburg, PA – Mayor Stephen R. Reed today announced that the Boil Water Advisory in effect for the 3000 block of North 2nd Street is now lifted and consumers may use water for all purposes without boiling.

The Boil Water Advisory went into effect on Tuesday (January 22) as a result of a water main break on that block.

Repairs were completed this past Tuesday. However, due to the stirring of sediment in the water main, the Boil Water Advisory was recommended as a standard precaution.
