FOR IMMEDIATE USE |
NEW GRAYSTONE BANK BRANCH OPENS IN DOWNTOWN HARRISBURGMayor Stephen R. Reed today cut the ribbon to officially open the new Graystone Bank Harrisburg Office in the Veteran’s Building at 112 Market Street, in the heart of downtown’s Market Square. The new office serves as the headquarters for the newly-established full-service financial services firm. Reed said the new headquarters office occupies 8,500 sq. ft. of beautifully restored space on the first and third floors of the signature downtown building. 24 full and part-time jobs are created by the new bank’s opening. Graystone employs more than 40 throughout their midstate banking network. “We are delighted to welcome Graystone Bank to center city,” said Mayor Stephen R. Reed. “The addition of Graystone Bank certainly reinforces Harrisburg’s growing role as the region’s center for banking and financial services.” The Mayor said Graystone Bank opened in November of 2005, and has quickly become one of the fastest growing and most aggressive financial services institutions in the Mid-Atlantic U.S. In addition to the Harrisburg headquarters facility, branch offices are currently open in Lancaster and Leola, with more planned for the coming years. “We are very pleased to be in downtown and extend our appreciation to our many customers for their strong support,” said Graystone Bank Chairman, President and CEO Andrew S. Samuel. “We look forward to continued strong growth in the market and are eager to become partners in Harrisburg’s ongoing renaissance.” Samuel said Graystone offers a full range of checking, savings and loan products to retail, business and non-profit customers, along with such great services as free ATM transactions for customers, free checking, free business checking and free online banking and bill payment. |
