WIFE CHARGED WITH HUSBAND’S SLAYING IN AFTERNOON CITY HOMICIDEMayor Stephen R. Reed this evening said that Harrisburg Police have arrested 31-year old Addie Palache in connection with early afternoon slaying of her husband, 33-year old Stanfford Palache, of 1829 Regina Street. Reed said police were called to the Regina Street residence shortly before 2 p.m. this afternoon for a report of an injured man. Arriving units found the deceased victim on the kitchen floor, suffering from a single stab wound to the neck. His wife was also present in the house, wearing bloodied clothing. Police are searching for the murder weapon at this hour. Police interviewed the suspect and the couple’s six children at the scene, and then brought her to police headquarters for further questioning. Following this additional questioning it was determined that the wife was responsible for the crime and she will be charged with a single count of Criminal Homicide in Night Court later this evening, though the circumstances for the attack remain undetermined and under investigation. The children are staying with relatives. Palache will likely be remanded to the Dauphin County Prison without bail. |
