Members of the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire participate with the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Urban Search and Rescue program. PA-TF 1 is one of 26 Urban Search and Rescue teams that are stationed across the United States. The Urban Search and Rescue teams respond to major emergencies such as terrorist attacks, earthquakes, and hurricanes.
