Developers, engineers, contractors, and anyone else considering a project in the City is encouraged to meet with the Citys "Plans and Permits Unit". This meeting provides an informal arena to privately and confidentially discuss your property or project, and get feedback that may help determine your feasibility or direction. The Unit consists of City planners, building code administrators, engineers, and representatives of the Fire and Police Bureaus.
The Plans & Permits Unit meets every Wednesday at 11 AM in the Department of Building and Housing Development conference room. Meetings may involve a presentation and discussion, which allows a better understanding of requirements and project needs for both the public and private sector persons.
- proposed and current developments

Contact the Planning Bureau at 717-255-6419 and request to be placed on the next available agenda. Provide a description (hard copy, if possible) of what you want to discuss and who will be in attendance.
