North Third Street Corridor Initiative

DRAFT PLAN NOW AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEWDRAFT PLAN NOW AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW

The North Third Street Corridor Initiative is a five-year neighborhood revitalization plan intended to strengthen older historic neighborhoods in the City of Harrisburg through an approach that operates in cooperation with existing downtown or commercial corridor revitalization programs. The City of Harrisburg has prepared this Plan in order to receive funding under the Pennsylvania Elm Street Program. Elm Street designation will enable the City of Harrisburg, in partnership with others, to employ an Elm Street Manager for up to five years and apply for additional grant funds to undertake a variety of public improvement projects within the North Third Street Corridor Initiative Planning Area.
