The Guide provides an overview of the City's historic districts and explains what historic district designation means for property owners. It also explains the role and viewpoint of the Harrisburg Architectural Review Board in protecting historic districts through project review. The document provides guidelines for understanding, maintaining, and rehabilitating historic buildings and links to many other useful preservation resources. It's useful to property owners, contractors, architects and real estate professionals involved with historic buildings whether within a designated historic area or not.
