This Bureau, headed by the Director of Financial Management, oversees the fiscal management of the City, as well as the activities of the Offices of Accounting, Budget and Analysis and Purchasing. Specific activities include the management of all funds; the accounting of all assets; the production of all financial documents; and the administration of Debt Service, General Expenses and Transfers to Other Funds. In addition, this Bureau aids in the administration of the City’s five pension plans and provides in-depth financial analysis to the Mayor and City Council upon request.
