Mayor Thompson today recognized Department of Public works Director Ernie Hoch, who serves as the City's Energy Manger, for saving the City $398,000 in electric charges this year over last year.

"This is the kind of performance we've learned to expect from Ernie," Mayor Thompson commented today. 

"He's a good negotiator and manager, so here's a 'shout out' to Ernie because his attention to detail resulted in a nice saving in the City's electric bill over the coming year."

To Jack Robinson, his outstanding staff, and the many volunteers for performance above and beyond in making the EXPO such a success.

The Mayor extends a 'Shout Out' to Chief Ritter, the bomb squad, and all personnel involved for responding so effectively to the public safety needs of our City.
