The City of Harrisburg is conducting the largest summertime recreational program ever for the use of these sites. Enthusiastic, personable, and skilled staff persons are needed to conduct the array of programs activities, and projects planned for 2010.
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTORS NEEDED and Proposals for operation of "break-even" classes encouraged.
The City of Harrisburg is recruiting part-time group fitness instructors to lead fitness classes in the Brownstone Building in Reservoir Park Monday through Friday 5:30 to 6:30 PM and 6:45 to 7:45 PM.
Exact days and times can be adjusted to community needs. All forms of fitness disciplines will be considered: Aerobics, Step Aerobics, Cardio-Kickboxing, Gliding, Pilates, Yoga, Tai' Chi, and toning/strength training with free weights, body bars and elastic bands. Instructors must have a up-to-date certification in any of the disciplines they wish to instruct in addition to personal liability insurance.
Suggested hourly wage of $15 per hour, per class or as suggested in Fitness Class Operation Proposals.

Assist Parks Maintenance crews with ongoing maintenance and upkeep of City Parks
Ages: 16 and older, in high school or graduated
Dates: Early Spring to Labor Day (max, 119 days)
Hours per week: 25-40
Hourly Rate: $7.25 - $12.00 per hour (depending upon experience)
Work Site: City Parks
Minimum Requirements: Must be available days, weekends, and holidays.
