The Mayor’s Office of Economic Development and Special Projects (MOEDSP) has an outstanding history of providing various types of assistance to businesses located in the City of Harrisburg.One critical area of assistance is the Business Start-up Seminar that offers a step-by-step program that both examines all of the important factors that are necessary to become established in business in Harrisburg, as well as helps set the stage for starting a business in the City. Potential entrepreneurs are always welcome to contact MOEDSP to register for the Start-up Seminars, usually scheduled several times each year, based on demand. Additional services are available and MOEDSP staff are available to explain the services, offer assistance, guidance and suggestions.
